February 2, 2023 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Prairies, Land Use Change, Human Concepts and Weeds Presented by Dr. Barron Rector, Associate Professor and Extension Range Specialist, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service In this presentation Dr. Rector will discuss: 1) what a prairie is, 2) history of prairies, 3) the current value to a healthy ecosystem and 4) human concepts relative to current changes in land use.
